Veterinarian in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, has in his possession one middle-aged blind dog who is very sweet. The dog wandered onto someone's property and was almost killed by her dogs. If a home is not found the dog will have to be euthanized. Please contact Adrienne Kimmons at 573-317-9385 or the Vet at: 573-346-5733 if you can foster or adopt this very sweet, blind dog!!  He is up-to-date on all shots and can be neutered upon commitment to place!

Jane, of the Okefenokee Humane Society, Waycross Georgia writes: "A few days ago, I arrived at work to discover that some time during the night, someone had tied two incredibly sweet Beagles to our gate and then abandoned them there. They are obviously brother and sister and are about 6 years old. Unfortunately, the female's eyes are terribly infected, and one is obviously beyond hope and will have to be removed.  Not only is OHS a high-kill shelter, but we also don't have the money to cover the costs of even basic veterinary care! Please help these sweet dogs!  Please contact me at email: jane.keeler@yahoo.com or at work: (912)-283-4214"
