On Tuesday, January 15, 2002 members of
Blinddogs lost a true friend. The animals we care for lost a hero.
Linda was the owner of the blinddogs website
and co-owner of the blinddogs e-mail lsupport list. She was also co-founder of
the Blind Dogs Fund and a founding member of IMOMís Board of Directors, and
she also managed the IMOM-Xpress transport list. She worked tirelessly,
steadily, lovingly, to make the world better for companion animals, especially
for those that have lost their sight or have other special needs.
The blinddogs e-mail support group and the blinddogs website will continue as a tribute to all the work and caring she
put into them. It's what she would want.
We are all deeply saddened by her passing.
Linda was one of the sweetest people we have known. Heaven is surely
brighter today, while our hearts are heavy. The Bridge kids are welcoming one
of the special ones home today. We take comfort in knowing that she has
received a heroís welcome there.
Linda made a great difference in the lives of
so many companion animals and people through her work on the Blinddogs website
and e-mail group, and through her work at IMOM. She put her heart and
soul into it and it showed in everything she did.
God bless you Linda...you will be missed.
If you would like to remember Linda in a special way,
donations should be made to the Linda Glass Memorial Fund, formerly
the IMOM Fund for Blind Dogs. The family will be sent an acknowledgement
when your gift is received. Donations made to this fund will be used to help
blind dogs in need. Please contact the IMOM Board
of Directors for instructions.
Expressions of sympathy to Linda's family may
be left in our guest book below.
