Gabby
(AKA the Happy Boy)

I can hardly remember when I was listed as Pablo... lost and alone after having been abandoned at a Vets in New Jersey... I was taken home by a wonderful woman named Inge who helped me find a forever home, and I will always remember Inge. Now everyone knows me as Gabby the Happy Boy! Gabby is short for Gabriel as I am named after the Archangel (all my siblings are
named after angels) and I like to talk a lot. I am also the official spokesdog for Angels of the Snow Siberian Husky Rescue/Referral, and as such, I play a large part in our rescuing and placing blind and vision impaired as well as other Siberians from all over. I would never let my
friends down when they needed me. 

My sister "Angel" and I are the inspiration for Angels of the Snow...she was a former brood bitch for an irresponsible owner but that is another story, she is retired now.. My friends all know I am quite outspoken when it comes to my canine companions in need, and my family understands and gives me the freedom to speak my mind in their defense. Since I found my forever home (January 1998) and have embarked on a new and exciting career (I still know my
sleddog commands and get out for a good recreational run once in a while) I have personally helped Charity, Grace, Magic, Bear, and Precious to findloving forever homes, and Tesha, Nikiah and Lady are now in rescue until their forever homes are found. If that sounds like a lot...they are not just from my area in the New England Region. Charity and Tesha were from
Wisconsin, Precious is from North Carolina, Nikiah and Lady are from New York, Grace is from Pennsylvania, Magic and Bear are from Massachusetts. I never knew a Siberian who would let a few miles get in the way of helping a friend, we know how to haul when we have too! We have had placements and rescues reaching as far North as Nova Scotia "Hi Precious" and South to Florida....who said blinddogs don't travel? I guess my happy ending lead directly to a new beginning...so that many of my friends may have a happy ending of their own.
